This is a reminder that our League Book Group is meeting tonight, Wednesday, November 16, at 7:00 via Zoom. Please join us!

This month's book is Eric Larson's The Splendid and the Vile, which "takes readers out of today’s political dysfunction and back to a time of true leadership, when, in the face of unrelenting horror, Churchill’s eloquence, courage, and perseverance bound a country, and a family, together." Here's the Lazy Historian's review of this book.

Haven't read the book? That's okay! Please join us to hear the discussion and join in.

At this month's meeting, we'll also talk about next books, our book group meeting calendar, and how we want to manage our book group in the coming year. All are welcome to help plot our next book group steps.
