About this event
Please come to witness and support your colleagues who will perform Press On, My Sisters at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Schulenburg on Sunday, July 21 at 3:00 in the afternoon. This is the reader’s theater play that tells the story of women’s struggle for equal rights in America, created and produced by our own South Central Texas league. This same play received a standing ovation at the Texas State League of Women Voters Convention in April of this year.
We are grateful to Dr. Virginia Berry and Rev. Stafford of the St. James community for working with us to make this happen. Come, meet the members of this community, and be inspired to PRESS ON!
